June 2017

 Dear Friend,

All good things come to an end, and for us that is the resignation of our wonderful colleagues Paula and Kate. Professional advancement and family issues have pulled them away, but I know you join us in thanking them for their incredible service and wishing them all the best as they begin new chapters in their lives.  As we transition, a high quality of service to you remains our priority. Until we find a permanent replacement, we are pleased to be welcoming two temporary staff members: Monette and David.  Both Monette and David have volunteered at the Pantry and are committed to continuing our culture of welcome and respect. They would love it if you introduced yourself and said hello next time you are at the Food Pantry.

I would also like to thank you for your responses to a survey we included in last month's newsletter.  We got incredible response and are starting to implement some of your suggestions including nutrition handouts, community events, and how to find other Pantries that serve your area.

-- Michele Zurakowski, Executive Director
