This simple recipe has only 5 ingredients and is easy to whip up after a long workday. This is a great way to get in your daily servings of vegetables. Broccoli is a nutrition powerhouse because it is packed with vitamin C, vitamin K, iron, potassium, and fiber!

Ingredients
8 oz Thin spaghetti
¼ C olive oil
10 oz Frozen broccoli
3 clv garlic, chopped
½ tsp salt
C Parmesan cheese
salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

1. Cook pasta in salted water according to package directions. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water.

2. Heat olive oil in a large nonstick skillet and cook frozen broccoli; add salt. Cook for 8 minutes, stirring occasionally. In the last minute, add chopped garlic to the skillet and sauté until fragrant.

3. Add ¾ cup of the reserved pasta water to the skillet and cook for an additional minute.

4. Add pasta and Parmesan cheese to skillet with broccoli and toss until evenly coated. Add additional pasta water, if desired.

5. Season with cracked black pepper and serve with additional Parmesan cheese.
