Tortilla Soup

No one will ever know this delicious soup came from opening up 6 cans!

1 can whole kernel corn, drained (15 oz can)
2 can chicken broth (14.5-oz cans)
1 can chunk chicken (10-oz OR 1, 10 oz pouch of chicken)
1 can black beans, drained and rinsed (15-oz can)
1 can diced tomatoes with green chile peppers (14.5-oz can, or one 10-oz can condensed tomato soup, mixed with one can water)
1 tsp chili powder
Salt & pepper to taste
crushed tortilla chips
  1.  In a medium soup pot, add the corn, chicken broth, chicken, beans, tomatoes (or tomato soup with water) and chili powder.  Stir.
  2. Simmer over medium heat until soup is hot, stirring occasionally.
  3. Season with salt and pepper, if desired.
  4. Serve with crushed tortilla chips. 




Makes 6 servings; 1 ½ cups each.
