Remoulade Sauce

The recipe for this Remoulade Sauce was created to pair with Tim's Crispy Catfish Nuggets, but it pairs well with many fish and seafood dishes such as Crab Cakes or Baked Cod.

1 C mayonnaise ((regular or light))
1 tsp yellow mustard (or Dijon)
1 tsp horseradish sauce ((creamy store bought or homemade))
1 Tbsp capers (or substitute dill pickles, chopped)
2 tsp lemon juice (fresh)
1 tsp pickle juice
1 tsp hot sauce
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp cayenne pepper ( or substitute salt-free Cajun seasoning)

* Salt-free Cajun seasoning is a blend of cayenne, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, and black pepper

Combine all ingredients in a small mixing bowl. Transfer into a serving bowl.

Tip: Let the Remoulade sauce rest in the fridge for an hour before serving for best flavors!
