April 2025: Volunteers of the Month

Jean Noble

The Home Delivery team's volunteer of the month is Jean Noble! We are so happy to have Jean back after some operations kept us apart for too long. Even though she's still in recovery, she sticks around until the job gets done, bagging apples and oranges like a mad woman. She is always ready to help where needed and we missed having her. We can always count on her! A favorite quote of hers: "I value being a senior helping another senior." Welcome back, Jean!

Daisy Roa Martinez

The Pantry's volunteer of the month is Daisy Roa Martinez. Daisy spent quite a bit of time at the pantry during the month of April and she accomplished a lot! Daisy helped create our specialty boxes with food that is catered to Central and South American diets, built cardboard boxes, helped set up for distribution, and did plenty of processing and sorting of large food rescues from our local partners. Daisy's versatility and skills as a volunteer were very helpful this month! Thank you, Daisy!
