Schedule: 40 hours per week, specific schedule TBD
Salary Range: $42,000 - $43,500
Beyond Hunger is harnessing the power of communities to end hunger. An award-winning direct service agency, we serve residents of 13 ZIP Codes on the West Side of Chicago and surrounding suburbs. Last year we provided critical food assistance and programming to over 69,000 individuals. Our energetic and fulfilling work environment is resourced by an operating budget of over $5 million, 20 full-time staff members, 4 part-time staff, 1 full-time VISTA member, over 1300 active volunteers—and possibly you.

What you will be doing:
Program Coordination
- Collaborate with the Pantry Program and Home Delivery teams to manage weekly Online Market operations and project planning.
- Maintain and update grocery offerings on the Pantry Easy app to align with monthly inventory availability.
- Maintain relationships with Community Partner Online Market sites.
- Support the Pantry Program/Online Market through weekly staff deliveries to partner sites.
- Manage the Online Market direct line for any incoming inquiries from clients and work with the team to address their concerns.
- Manage digital food orders. Work with volunteers, interns, and staff in all aspects of packaging and delivery of packaged foods.
- Work with the Pantry Manager to establish innovative strategies to achieve annual program goals established by the Pantry Programs Manager.
- Enhance program efficiency by implementing streamlined processes to minimize errors and maximize effectiveness.
- Ensure meticulous attention to detail when reviewing orders to guarantee accurate delivery for each client.
- Assist with other day-to-day Pantry operations.
Data collection, analysis, and assessment
- Support the Pantry Program in implementing client surveys, contributing valuable insights to inform program development.
- Report on, and present findings from client surveys and order data to inform program decision-making.
- Utilize analysis of past client orders to forecast future food demand accurately.
- Edit and transfer client data across various platforms, including Excel, Salesforce, Pantry Easy, and Google Sheets.
Qualifications:
- Preferred bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience.
- Have a valid driver's license for at least 3 consecutive years with an excellent record.
- Experience operating a non-CDL commercial van (preferred).
- Food sanitation licensure or ability to achieve once hired.
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and the ability to perform all duties associated with a physically strenuous position.
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with and encourage interaction between people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds.
- Knowledge of Beyond Hunger's service area encouraged to apply.
- Bi-lingual skills (English/Spanish) are preferred.
Environment:
