Although there are many bottled versions, the BEST cocktail sauce is made from scratch from simple ingredients found in most homes. Best of all? Using individual ingredients allows you to adjust for spice level, sodium, and added sugars, giving you more control over what you eat. You can find prepared horseradish in the refrigerated section of supermarkets.

Ingredients
½ C ketchup (no salt added)
2 Tbsp jarred horseradish
1 ds worcestershire sauce
1 squeeze of lemon juice
Tabasco sauce (to taste, optional)
Instructions

1.    In a small bowl, combine all ingredients and mix well. Taste and adjust ingredients if needed. 

Notes

Chef’s notes: Serve with chilled shrimp, crab cakes, or meatballs or mix into meatloaf or to top a burger.
